Albert & Friends Instant Circus have been a partner in the international project “Circus Adults Training in Europe”, supported with a grant by the European Programme “LLP/GRUNDTVIG – Learning Partnership” 2012-1-DE2-GRU06-11396.

The project, in cooperation with EYCO, (European Youth Circus Organisation), involved ten European circus organisations including

Great Britain: Albert & Friends Instant Circus – London

Italy: Associazione Giocolieri e Dintorni – Civitavecchia
Spain: Plataforma Española de Escuelas de Circo Socioeducativo – Barcelona

During its two years lifespan (2012/2014) the project has been developed through ten meetings bringing together experienced trainers, learners and experts from the above listed countries.
The partners joined together to share knowledge and work towards developing a European model for a basic circus training course. This work has been collaborated into a training manual ‘CATE Handbook – Basic Circus Trainer Programme‘
